Baotou tourist attractions
Brief Introduction：
Baotou is also called “Deer City” because in the Mongolian language, its name sounds like it means “a place with deer”. After more than 50 years of development, Baotou has become the largest rare earth production base in China and the largest industrial base in Inner Mongolia. The City has won numerous prestigious awards including being named one of the earliest of China’s National Model Cities of Social Development, a National Garden City, one of China’s Excellent Tourism Cities, one of the Top 100 Cities for Economic Growth, winning the China Environment Award and being named to the UN Habitat Scroll of Honor. *Images provided by Li Chengxi and CFP
