Located 4 kilometers northwest of Geneva and on the Swiss-French border, Geneva International Airport is an important regional hub serving Geneva and other destinations in the Alps.
3.Terminal Information
The airport has two terminals. T2 is open only for winter tourist charter flights, while T1 is the main terminal which contains five concourses: A, B, C, D and F. Currently, Air China’s airport services are based in Concourse C.
4.Location of Check-in Counters
Air China uses check-in counters 51-56 in Concourse C, T1 to serve its passengers.

1.Buses and trams
The city has a highly efficient, extensive bus and tram system. Tickets are available for sale at the ticketing devices close to most stops or at newspaper stands. Fares differ according to the distance of travel and ticket’s validity period. Ticketing devices accept only coins and do not give change. Tickets are checked by roving controllers known as the “Green Jackets.”
2.Taxis
Fares start from 6.3 CHF and then go up by 2.7 CHF/kilometer in the urban area and by 3.5 CHF/kilometer in the rural area. There are surcharges for trips at nighttime and during festivals and holidays. Sometimes there’s a 1 CHF surcharge/piece for baggage.
3.Trains
Trains represent the easiest way to get around. Geneva has a well–managed, extensive railway system with frequent and convenient links to many destinations. STS, a public transportation pass, is valid for rides with trains.
Geneva has a temperate oceanic climate. It’s neither biting code in winter nor sizzling hot in summer. The coldest month is January and the hottest month, July. The annual precipitation is 1000 millimeters.
