Changchun Longjia International Airport

2.Basic Information
Changchun Longjia International Airport, formerly known as Changchun Longjiabao International Airport, is located at the intersection of Donghu Town and Longjia Town in Jiutai City, northeast of Changchun City, between Changchun and Jilin. The First Phase of project was completed in 2005. In April, 2016, the Second Phase of expansion project of Longjia Airport commenced and will be officially open on October 28, 2018.

3.Terminal Information
Changchun Longjia International Airport currently has two terminals, T1 and T2. After the official opening of T2 terminal on October 28, 2018, Air China will operate in the T2 terminal.
T2, located on the east side of T1, is simple and modern in design, with a "Y" shape on the plane. It’s about 650m in length from east to west and 400m from north to south respectively. The total area is about 55600 square meters. The T2 terminal building consists of a main building and three corridors in east, south and west side. T2 terminal is two-and-a-half storey, of which the total construction area is 128,000 square meters, and the single floor area is about 50,000 square meters. The East Corridor has a 9-storey ramp tower and 23 boarding gates in the vicinity. The corresponding boarding bridges have a total of 42 fixed ones and 27 movable ones. There are five entrances and exits in the main building, four check-in islands in the hall, 56 check-in counters, 14 security check channels, 20 straight ladders, 10 escalators, 6 moving walkways, 8 self-service check-in kiosks and 4 self-service baggage check-in machines, including 20 systems such as information integration, departure, security information, broadcasting and navigation display. Moving walkways have also been added from Longjia high-speed railway station to T1, as well as from the terminals to the baggage hall in T2, so it will be more convenient for everyone to travel by air.

4.Location of Check-in Counters
A, B, C and D check-in islands are set up in the Departure Hall on the third floor of T2 at Changchun Airport, and the check-in counters of Air China are located at counter numbering 03-14, Island C of T2. There are 8 self-service check-in kiosks in T2, which are placed in front of Island A and Island D respectively, and Island D is for self-service baggage check-in.
The "Flight Information Service" system has also been introduced at T2. For passengers without baggage to check, it is not necessary to print a paper boarding pass, they can pass security check and boarding check only by their identity cards, which realize a paperless customs clearance process.

Domestic Departure
Passengers entering the Check-in Hall on the Departure Floor of T2 → Check-in at Counter 03-14 of Island C→ Security Check → Waiting at departure gates → Boarding.
Domestic Arrival
Passengers entering the Arrival Floor of T2 after disembarkation → Picking up checked baggage → Leaving the airport.

6.VIP Lounge
Air China’s first class and high-end passenger lounge is located opposite Gate 13 and Gate 15 in the waiting area, with an independent first class passenger lounge accommodating 45 passengers opposite Gate 13, as well as a high-end passenger (with card) lounge opposite Gate 15 for 65 people at a time.

7.Airport Transportation
Terminal 2 of Changchun Airport clearly demarcates airport bus, process of taxi storage yard, parking of social vehicles and the route to high-speed railway station.

Ground parking lot and underground parking building
Changchun Airport has newly built a ground parking lot and an underground parking building, with a total of 2980 parking spaces and 29 special parking spaces for the disabled. Among them, there are 2217 parking spaces in the ground parking lot, and 763 parking spaces in the underground parking building, mainly for overnight vehicles. There are two entrances and exits in the underground parking building, from which passengers can directly walk to Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. The specific charges are as follows:
Small motor vehicles within 2 hours (including 2 hours) of 5 yuan / vehicle and 1 more yuan will be charged each additional half an hour;
Large motor vehicles will charge 10 yuan/vehicle within 2 hours (including 2 hours) and 2 more yuan each additional half an hour.

Social vehicles' pick-ups and parking
The three lanes on the left side of the parking lot entrance are dedicated to Terminal 1 (Arrival Hall) and the four lanes on the right side are dedicated to Terminal 2 (with signs along the way). The social vehicles for pick-ups can be guided into the parking lot according to the signs. After pick-ups, they will go straight along the main roads in the parking lot of Terminal 1 and in front of Terminal 2 respectively and leave the airport.

Taxi storing process
Taxis queuing up at the airport for pick-ups must first enter the taxi storage yard to wait in line, and then be directed by the management personnel, coming to the taxi take-off points through the taxi special lane, leaving through the taxi special lane after pick-ups, and returning to downtown (dispatched uniformly by Taxi Passenger Transport Center).
1. Taxi that runs directly from the urban area to Changchun Airport to line up should drive along the No. 1 road of the airport to the entrance of the parking lot, and enter the taxi storage yard through the special lane of the taxi to wait.
2. Taxi that takes passengers to the terminal building in the urban area, after unloading the passengers at the terminal viaduct, turn around at the left intersection, go about 1000 meters to the entrance of the parking lot and enter the taxi storage yard to wait.
The drive-off of taxis and social vehicles: drive along the viaduct to the Departure Hall of the Terminal, and then leave the airport down the viaduct after drop-offs.

Airport bus
Drop-off area - the bus drop-off area of Terminal 2 is Gate 3 and Gate 9, and the positions of Terminal 1 remain unchanged.
Ticket counter and price - the ticket office is next to Gate 9. The fare is 20 yuan each ticket.

Urban Railway
The Changchun-Jilin Intercity Railway is an intercity high-speed railway linking Changchun City and Jilin City. It takes only 14 and 30 minutes to get to Longjia high-speed railway station by intercity EMU train from Changchun City and Jilin City respectively. When passengers come from Changchun Longjia high-speed railway station to Terminal 2, they need to walk north from Corridor 1 to the junction with Corridor 3, and then walk all the way east. Due to the long transfer distance, there are many moving walkways in the transfer passage, which will greatly shorten the distance and time for passengers to walk.
The total distance between Terminal 2 and the underground corridor of Changchun Longjia high-speed railway station is about 600 meters, consisting of Corridor 2, Corridor 3 and partial Corridor 1. Passengers travelling on the high-speed railway should go to the first basement (B1), follow the transfer passage, walk west to the junction of Corridor 3 and Corridor 1, and go south to reach Longjia high-speed railway station, where there will be direction signs all the way.

1. Bus
City traffic in Changchun is very convenient. The urban bus network is well developed, including state-owned bus lines, minibuses, special-line connecting minibuses, and feeder-line buses. The City has a total of 340 bus lines with a unified fare of RMB 1 for urban areas.

2. Taxi
The flag-down fare for taxis in Changchun City is RMB 5 for the first 2.5 kilometers with an incremental charge of RMB 1.3 for each additional kilometer.

3. Light Rail
Originating at Changchun Railway Station, the Changchun Light Rail travels south to Changchun South Station along the Beijing-Harbin Railway, and east to Weixing Road via Diantai Street. Then it travels along Weixiong Road to the terminal station at Weixing Square Station. The total length of the light rail is 14.62 kilometers with 17 stations on the route. It connects the three administrative regions of Changchun, seven shopping malls, three entertainment venues, three industrial zones and nine neighborhoods.
