Kathmandu
Brief Introduction:
Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal, but also the country's largest city, located in the northwest of Kathmandu valley, at the conjunction of the Bagmati River and the Bixing Marty River. Surrounded by hills and mountains, its spring is here all year round, and well known as “Heaven In Hill".
Reasons for Recommendation:
In the backstreets of Kathmandu, the temples have marigold everywhere, courtyards are filled with red peppers and rice, and small workshops remain much as they were during the Middle Ages, all truly embodying the fascinating cultural and artistic heritage of this city. *Images provided by Luan Dong
