Brief Introduction：
Tianjin is one of four municipalities that are directly under the Central Government. As the largest coastal city in North China, it is also one of the origins of modern industry. Tianjin was formerly called The Fort of Tianjin, because a fort was established there as a military defense during the Yongle Reign Period of the Ming Dynasty. Tianjin has evolved into an international port and a very livable city since the Binhai New Area development strategy was launched in 2006.
