2.Basic Information
Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta International Airport is the largest and busiest civil airport in the capital of Indonesia. The airport opens 24 hours and has two take-off and landing tracks and three terminals. The free shuttle buses connecting T1, T2 and T3 operate from 8:00 to 20:00, while the free MRT train is available from 4:30 in the morning till midnight.
3.Terminal Information
Jakarta Soekarno-Hada International Airport currently has three terminals – T1, T2 and T3. The Indonesian domestic flights operated by companies other than Garuda Indonesia are located in T1 and the F Zone of T2. The D&E Zone of T2 and certain parts of T3 are home to all international flights. The domestic flights of Garuda Indonesia operate in some areas of T3. Air China is currently situated in T3.

International Departure
Passengers enter the check-in hall on F2, T3 through Gate 3 → check-in at C14~C19 → security check → exit formalities at immigration counter → wait at boarding gate → boarding
International Arrival
Passengers get off the plane, enter the international arrival hall of T3 → entry formalities at immigration counter → pick up baggage at baggage claim hall→ customs inspection → leave the airport.

Shuttle bus:
The airport has shuttle buses. Passengers may take the shuttle bus to travel to the city center, which takes about one hour and 20,000 rupees. The bus departs every 30 minutes.
Taxi:
Passengers may follow the signs in the airport to find the location of taxi stand. A taxi ride to the city center takes about 40 minutes and costs about 200,000 rupees.
In-airport shuttle bus:
Passengers may take a free shuttle bus to travel between T1, T2 and T3 from 8:00 to 20:00.

1. Train
The four main train stations in Jakarta are not far from downtown. The Gambit station is near the east side of Liberty Square and has many trains bound for Bogor, Bandung, Jogyakarta, Surakarta, Semarang and Surabaya. Most of the trains departing from Pasar Senen are economy priced, heading to districts east of Jakarta, while trains setting off from Tanah Abang go west to Merak.
2. Taxi
Taxis in Jakarta are plentiful and all taxis are air-conditioned, and the prices are cheap. Taxis are the best choice for trips within the city. The flag-down fare is about IDR 3,000 and the incremental charge is IDR 1,300 per kilometer.
