Daegu International Airport is a military airfield located at the center of Gyeongsangdo, bearing the functions of a particular international exchange hub between Taegu and.. the northern part of Gyeongsangbuk-do and It only takes about 90 minutes to get some famous tourist spots such as Gyeongju, Andong and Pohang. It is an important regional airport serving Yeongnam. The design of the passenger terminal evokes symbols of the concept of Ouga (Song of five friends; water, rock, pine tree, bamboo and moon) by Yun Seon Do and the shape of the flying crane, to create a comfortable and pleasant environment.

1. Subway
The Daegu subway first opened to traffic on January 26, 1997. Subway Line 2 began operating on October 18, 2005. Subway Line 3 began operating on April 27, 2015. The subway system provides parking lots for commuters,, a variety of cultural facilities and convenient access for the disabled.

There are spur buses and trunk buses operating to each attraction in Daegu. The ticket fare for trunk buses is approximately 1200 Won. Visitors who purchase a travel card pay discounted fares.
