Notice for Standby Passengers Flying from Vancouver/London/Russia to Beijing

Recently introduced disease prevention and control requirements have resulted in major changes to Air China international flights. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

To protect the rights and interests of all passengers, and to assist passengers returning home, Air China has launched the "Standby Alterations and Booking Reservations" function, which became available in the Air China app on April 26. Since June 5, the following changes apply to rescheduling and ticket booking requests for some routes:

1. Air China check-in counters in the International Terminal of Vancouver International Airport will no longer accept standby passengers waiting in line for Vancouver–Beijing flights.

2. Air China check-in counters at London Heathrow Airport Terminal 2 will no longer accept standby passengers waiting in line for London–Shanghai flights.

3. Air China check-in counters in Terminal F of Moscow Sheremetyevo International Airport will no longer accept standby passengers waiting in line for Moscow–Beijing flights.

Only passengers who have completed their application for rescheduling/ticket booking through the Air China app and received telephone confirmation from Air China Customer Service will be accepted for the routes listed above.
