Reminder to Passengers Flying from Pakistan to China to Pay Attention to Official Information from the Chinese Embassy

In accordance with the requirements of the joint announcement of the Civil Aviation Administration of China, the General Administration of Customs of China and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, the Chinese Embassy in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan has issued the “Notice on Regulations of Boarding with Negative Nucleic Acid Test Certificate for COVID-19 for Passengers Traveling from Pakistan to China.” The Notice clarifies the specific requirements and inspection method for the provision of nucleic acid test certificates by Chinese and foreign passengers traveling on flights from Pakistan to China, which take effect from July 27, 2020. Starting from July 27, 2020, if you need to take an Air China flight to China from Pakistan, or an Air China flight ultimately bound for China that transfers via Pakistan, please check the latest requirements of the Chinese Embassy in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan as soon as possible and arrange your itinerary accordingly, in order to avoid unnecessary inconvenience. Before boarding, Chinese citizens not in possession of a green health code with a "HS" mark and foreign citizens not in possession of a valid health declaration will not be eligible to fly. Such passengers are requested to contact the original ticket issuer to have their flight rescheduled or their ticket refunded.
