Notice regarding Vancouver to Beijing flight passengers boarding standby 

Dear Air China passenger,

Due to the ongoing flight schedules and operational adjustments, please take note of the following procedure and guideline update from Air China.

In order to protect the rights and interests of our passengers and assist them in flying to China, Air China has introduced the "Rebooking Standby and Ticket Pre-Booking" function, which was officially launched on April 26 on the Air China App.

Effective on Jun 7, 2020, Air China's flight from Vancouver to Beijing will only accept passengers who have a valid ticket on the scheduled departure date with confirmed seat.

Air China will no longer accept passengers waiting in line at the Air China check-in counter in Vancouver international airport. Air China passengers who wish to rebook their flight must register as an Air China Phoenix member and submit a request for “Rebooking standby” through the Air China App.
