No visa abolition agreement has been concluded between China and India. Chinese citizens are not allowed to apply for visa upon entry.

Transit visa

Passengers who transit India to a third country, hold an onward air ticket, don't leave the airport and stay for less than 24 hours don??t need to apply for a visa. Otherwise, they must apply for a transit visa, which is usually valid for 3 months and allows its holders to stay for up to 7 days.
