In Canada, smoking is prohibited in most public places including offices.

When people are introduced to each other, the younger come before the older and those with higher social status before those of lower status.

As the Canadian law stands, everyone has the obligation to protect the environment. Fishing is not allowed without fishing license. Drinking alcohol is not allowed in parks. Smoking is prohibited in some restaurants. It is forbidden to abuse children. It is forbidden leave children under 12 years of age alone at home.
