Now, the Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration Canada only accepts the new versions of the visa application forms for temporary resident visa, student visa and work visa (IMM 5257, IMM1294, IMM1295), and ceases to accept any previous versions of the visa application forms.

All the applicants in a family that travel together must complete and sign the application forms separately. An applicant under the age of 18 can fill out and sign the application form with the help of his/her parents or guardian.
