The 3 million-sqm airport completed in 1968 now has two crossing runways and 35 parking bays. It provides easy access to China, Japan and other parts of Southeast Asia.

The airport now has one terminal which divides into domestic and international sections. Air China’s airport operations are based in the international section.
4. Location of Check-In Counters
As the number of check-in counters is limited, all airlines operating into and out of the airport do not have exclusive check-in counters. Air China passengers need to confirm which check-in counters are available for check-in in advance.

Airport shuttle bus:
The airport shuttle bus service, with its station located right outside Gate 2 of the terminal, provides access to downtown Jeju.
Taxi:
Located in front of the terminal, the taxi station divides into two sections: one for passengers for a long ride and passengers for a short ride.
Car rental:
You can rent a car from the car rental counters in the domestic section of the terminal.

1. Bus
Bus is the easiest way to get around in Jeju. Nearly 100 bus lines provide easy access to all parts of the city. Bus numbers starting with “1” and “2” are for standard buses, those starting with “3” and “4” for regional buses, and those starting with “6” for luxury buses.
2. Taxi
Taxi fares start from KRW 2,400 for the first two kilometers, and those of black model cabs start from KRW 4,500 for the first two kilometers.
3. Ship
Jeju Island has a well-developed water transportation system. Ships of five passenger lines ply between ports of Busan, Wando, Incheon, Nokdong and Mokpo. For holidaymakers, ships are an easy way to get to Jeju Island. From the passenger terminal of Jeju, visitors can use the ferry ships to get to and from various surrounding islets.
Jeju has a maritime climate. It’s warm and mild.
The best travel seasons are spring (from March to May) which offers the most charming sceneries and autumn (from September to October) which is truly refreshing.
