Changsha Huanghua International Airport is the largest and busiest civil airport in Hunan province, as well as an air transportation hub in central China.

Changsha has a relatively well developed bus network with stops at most tourist attractions within the city and three bus routes that pass the main scenic spots and the bustling commercial districts in the city. Generally, city buses adopt self-service ticketing. The fare for a non-air-conditioned bus is RMB 1 while the fare for an air-conditioned bus is RMB 2.

3. Subway
The Changsha subway officially began its initial construction in 2009. According to the long-term plan, by 2030 there will be 6 trunk lines and 6 complimentary lines in Changsha’s rail transport system with a total length of approximately 450 kilometers. The overall layout of Changsha’s subway network will resemble “the Chinese character Mi (米) expanded in a double-cross shape” presenting a radial pattern centered around the trunk axis and complimented by belts.
