Airport Shuttle:
Munich S-Bahn Line S1 and Line S8 offer transportation services to the airport. These two lines depart every 10 minutes during the day traveling between downtown and the airport. Line S1 usually takes approximately 44 minutes to travel from the airport to Muenchen Hauptbahnhof, while Line S8 line only takes 41 minutes; in the opposite direction, i.e., from Muenchen Hauptbahnhof to the Airport, a trip takes 41 and 39 minutes, respectively.

1. Subway
The Munich subway consists of seven routes; respectively, they are U1, U2, U3, U4, U5, U6, U7, with a total of about 100 stations and 103 kilometers of subway lines.

The Munich public transportation system is one of the world's largest systems, including U-Bahn, S-Bahn, Trambahn and buses. The entire system is under the co-management of the Munich Traffic System and the German Railway. Muenchen Hauptbahnhof is located in the city center, in addition to two smaller train stations: Pasing Bahnhof - located in the city's West End, and the Ostbahnhof. The three railway stations are linked together by the bus system and form a transportation hub.
