2. Basic Information
A 4C-class feeder airport designed for both military and civil aviation purposes, Jinggangshan Airport is located in Taihe County of Jiangsu Province, 80 kilometers away from the Jinggang Mountain Scenic Resort and 50 kilometers away from Ji’an city. Jinggangshan Airport was initially opened on May 18, 2004 to serve six routes from Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Xiamen, Chengdu and Guangzhou.  On April 27, 2012, a Xi’an route was added.  Air traffic at the Airport increased from 1,333 flights in 2008 to the current 3,502 flights with an average annual increase of more than 50%.

Domestic Departure
Passengers enter the Domestic Departure Hall on Level 1 → conduct check-in procedures → Security Check → Wait at the Boarding Gate → Board the aircraft

Domestic Arrival
Passengers disembark and enter the Domestic Arrival Hall → Claim checked luggage → Leave the Airport

6. VIP Lounge
The VIP Lounge, which is a separate room located in the left corner of the waiting hall, serves as Air China’s VIP Lounge.
There is a First Class Lounge and a VIP Lounge at the airport, serving tea, mineral water, instant coffee and special local snacks.
Opening hours:
Passengers whose flights are scheduled to depart in the morning may enter the VIP lounge after 08:30 and passengers whose flights are scheduled to depart in the afternoon may enter after 12:40.

Taxi:
The taxi fare is about RMB 50 for a trip to Taihe County, and about RMB 120 for a trip to Ji’an.

Airport Shuttle:
Passengers may take an Airport Shuttle bus at the Central Station to get to Jinggangshan Airport. The Airport Shuttle bus departs at 08:00, 09:30 and 12:10 and the one-way ticket fare is RMB 20 per person.

1. Bus
In Jinggangshan, there are several tour bus routes with stops at the Tourist Transit Center, Jinggangshan Revolutionary Museum, and Beishan Martyrs Cemetery. Tourists who have purchased tickets to Jinggang Mountain Scenic Resort (RMB 206) may take the tourist bus free of charge while the fare for other passengers is RMB 2 per person.

2. Taxi
There are two types of taxis in Jinggangshan: Xiali taxis with a flag-down fare of RMB 3 for the first two kilometers and an incremental charge rate of RMB 1.2 for each additional kilometer; and Jetta taxis with a flag-down fare of RMB 5 for the first two kilometers and an incremental charge rate of RMB 1.5 RMB for each additional kilometer.
