Jinan International Airport is located in the middle of China’s busiest Beijing-Shanghai and Beijing-Guangzhou routes in the heart of Shandong Province. Well situated between the coastal area and the inland western area, it is an important major route airport and air hub in eastern China. Occupying 6,200 Mu (4 133 333.33 square meters), it is by far the largest public airport in Shandong Province and it also is the home of Shandong Airlines. The airport offers world-class services and support facilities.

Airport Shuttle:
Bus services are available between the airport and the urban area of Jinan, departing frequently and the average fare being RMB 20. The ticket office is located at Gates 3~4, in the Arrival Hall on the first floor. The drive time between the airport and downtown is about 50 minutes. In addition, there are many bus lines that provide service to Zibo, and Tai'an, Jining, at different fare levels.
Taxi:
The taxis charge a flag-down fare of RMB 7.5 for the first 3 kilometers, and RMB 1.5 for each additional kilometer travelled (RMB1.75 per kilometer at night); When the travel distance exceeds 6 kilometers, the rate will be RMB 2.25 per kilometer (RMB 2.5 per kilometer at night); when the speed is less than 12 kilometers per hour or the taxi is stopped, waiting time will be accounted for. When the cumulative waiting time reaches 5 minutes, an additional fee of one Yuan will be applied. There is a fuel surcharge of RMB 0.5. It takes about 40 minutes to reach the city center from the airport, and the cost is about RMB 100.

Jinan Railway Station is located in Jinan. As the largest railway hub in the Jinan Railway network, it connects with several railways including the Beijing-Shanghai Railway, Jiaozhou-Jinan Railway, Handan-Jinan Railway, Beijing-Shanghai high-speed rail, Jiao-Ji intercity rail, Shi-Ji high-speed rail, and Zhengzhou-Jinan high-speed rail.
