2. Basic Information
Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport covers an area of 14,000 acres, with two parallel runways that are capable of handling takeoffs and landings of A380 aircraft. There are 200 gates in the airport. Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport was rated as an “International Gateway Airport” in 1993, and was authorized to issue visas on arrival in 2000. It is a hub airport for Air China, and the largest aviation hub serving the central and western regions of China.
3. Terminal Information
Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport currently has two terminals: T1 and T2. T1 covers an area of 138,000 square meters, and T2 covers an area of 350,000 square meters. Air China operates domestic flights from Terminal T2, and international (regional) flights from Terminal T1.
4. Check-in Counters
Air China’s check-in counters for domestic flights are located at counters P, Q, R, S, T and U on the 3rd floor of Terminal T2; Check-in counters for international (regional) flights are located at counters 1~12 on the 2nd floor of Terminal T1.

6. VIP Lounge
The Air China VIP lounge is located next to Boarding Gate 154 on the 3rd floor of Terminal T2, with 338 seats, covering an area of 2,270 square meters. The Air China VIP lounge is divided into a Rest Zone, Internet Zone, TV Zone, Dining Zone, Bar, Sleeping rooms, Shower rooms, Business Center and other functional areas, offering wireless Internet access and individual VIP rooms.

Airport Shuttle Buses:
Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport has five shuttle bus lines linking to downtown, all of which have stations at Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.
Line 1: Airport-Renmin Nanlu
Line 2: Airport – North Railway Station
Line 3: Airport –East Railway Station
Line 4: Airport – Shijicheng New Convention and Conference Center
Line 5: Airport – Pixian Xipu Public Bus Station
Taxis:
The taxi stands are located outside Gate 2 of the Arrival Hall, Terminal 1 and outside Gate 4/Gate 5 of the Arrival Hall, Terminal 2. Fares start from 8-9 yuan for the first 2 kilometers and then go up by 1.9 yuan for each additional kilometer.
Long-Distance Buses:
Long-distance buses link to a number of cities around Chengdu like Mianyang, Deyang and Yibin. The bus station is located between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.
Intercity High-Speed Trains:
The Intercity High-Speed Train Station can be reached by L3 on floor B2, Terminal 2. The trains provide easy access to other parts of the province.

1. Subway
Line 1 is the main line from north to south, originating at Shengxian Lake with stops at many key places such as Chengdu North Railway Station, Wenshu Temple, Tianfu Square, Jinjiang Hotel, Chengdu South Railway Station, and Gaoxin and terminating at Shijicheng. Line 1 is 31.6 kilometers long with 17 stops along the route.
2. Taxi
The taxi changes are classified into two fares according to the car models in Chengdu. The flag-down fare for Elysee, Jetta and 1.6L Sagitar is RMB 8 for the first 2 kilometers, and RMB 1.9 for each additional kilometer; the flag-down fare for 1.4T, 2.0L Sagitar is RMB 9 for the first 2 kilometers, and RMB 1.9 for each additional kilometer. Surcharges apply for trips between 23:00 and 06:00.
