2. Basic Information
Fukuoka Airport is located in the Bodo area of Fukuoka, and it is one of the few airports in Japan located near the city center with extremely convenient public transportation. Because the Fukuoka airport is connected to the city subway, it only takes 5 minutes to get from the airport to Bodo station and 10 minutes get to the city center at Tenjin.

The Fukuoka airport consists of four terminal buildings: Terminal 1, Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 serve domestic flights and the International Terminal serves flights to other countries, Air China operates from the International Terminal.

International Departure Procedures

Domestic to International Procedure
Passengers arrive Level 1 of the International Terminal by taking the free bus (from Terminal 1, Terminal 2 or Terminal 3) → Proceed to the Level departure area → Register baggage → Check-in → Security check → Customs clearance→ Border inspection → Wait in the international departure lounge → Board flight;
International to Domestic Procedure

Air China’s VIP Lounge is operated in cooperation with Japan Airlines Cherry Lounge, located in the International Terminal opposite Gate 55. The VIP lounge provides impeccable service to VIPs traveling first class or business class and Air China and Star Alliance Gold Card members. The VIP lounge is divided into an Internet Zone, a Smoking Zone and a Dining Zone .
7. Airport Transportation
The airport is located approximately 2-4 kilometers from the city center.
Airport Bus: Bus stops are located at both the domestic and international terminals providing convenient transportation to the city center of Fukuoka, Dazaifu, Beppu, Saga, Kumamoto, Nagasaki and other area destinations;
Subway: A subway Line connects Terminal 2 to the city center. A free airport bus provides transportation between Terminal 2 and the other terminals. It takes approximately 10 minutes to go from Hakata station to Fukuoka Airport Station and 6 minutes from Bodo Station to Fukuoka Airport Station. Then, transfer to the bus, after another 10 minutes, you will arrive at international terminate, the whole journey costs about 260 yen;
Taxi: A taxi takes 15-20 minutes from the International Terminal to Bodo and 25 minutes from the International Terminal to Hakata and costs about 2000 yen.
1. Subway
Fukuoka has several subway lines inside the city, including the Airport Line, Hakozaki Line and Nanakuma Line. Ticket fares: 200 yen for adults, 100 yen for children.
2. Bus
The Fukuoka bus system consists of bus routes originating at either Bodo Station or Hakata Station. The“100 yen bus cycle” from Bodo to Hakata is a convenient way to go sightseeing. There are also buses that provide direct service to the western shopping center “Marinoa Fukuoka City” and "Momochi Coast City".
