2. Basic InformationBusan (Gimhae) International Airport, also known as Gimhae Airport, is located on 2350, Daejeo 2-Dong, Gangseo-Gu, Busan. It is the second largest international airport in South Korea and is the air hub for southern South Korea, offering two flights per hour to the capital city Seoul. Now it is the busiest airport that offers both military and civilian flights in southern ROK.

KAL Limousine Bus: KAL limousine buses offer direct routes to renowned hotels in downtown and major tourist attractions. Plus, there are bus routes serving Busan Station and Haeundae. KAL limousine buses run every 20-30 minutes. The fare is around 4,500 won for adults.

1. Subway
Busan subway has Line 1 and Line 2 at present, and the stop and exit signs at each station are all in English and Korean. By taking subways, passengers can reach several major tourist attractions such as Pomosa, hot springs, Jagalchi market and Nampo-dong, etc. The fare is approximately 600 to 700 won depending on the distance.

Line 1 starts from Nopo, passes by Busan National University, Dongnae, Seomyeon, Busan Station, Nampo and arrives at Sinpyiong.
Line 2 passes by Dong-eui University, Sasang, Gumyeong and reaches Yangsan.
2. Bus
In Busan, more than 190 routes service various scenic spots by normal buses and special buses with abundant seats. For buses with enough seats, the fare is about 1,200 won. The price for normal buses is about 600 won. Using bus cards can get a discount.
3. Taxi
The basic fare for taxi in Busan is 1,600 won with 100 won added periodically depending on time and distance.
There is an additional 20% charge from 00:00 to 04:00.
Busan has an oceanic climate which is relatively mild in comparison with the climates of other cities in South Korea. The best seasons to visit are spring and fall when there will be clear skies and fresh air with pleasant temperature.

Summer: summer starts from June to August each year and the weather then is rather muggy and damp with typhoons or monsoons coming in from time to time;
