Brief Introduction:
Tokyo is not only Japan’s capital city but also Asia’s largest city and world’s second largest city. It is the political, economic and cultural center of Japan, as well being a major transport hub. Located in the north of the Kanto Plain on Honshu Island, Tokyo and the cities surrounding it make up the world’s largest cosmopolitan district. Ancient Tokyo was an isolated fishing village originally called Chiyoda. Then until 1192, it was named after a feudal lord called Edo who built fortress here.
