2. Basic Information
Rome Fiumicino Airport was the first airport built in Rome after its opening in 1961. It is located in Fiumicino, Lazio, which is 26 km southwest of Rome city. The airport is Italy's largest airport, as well as being the aviation hub of Italy.
3. Terminal Information
Currently, Rome Fiumicino Airport consists of four terminals namely, T1, T2, T3 and T5. Air China operates in Terminal 3. Leonard Express:With departures every 30 to 60 minutes, the Leonardo Express connects the airport with Termini Station in about 30 minutes. The fare is ?9.5 at the Ticket Office, and is about ?4 on board.
Train:The train service operating between the airport and Tibutina station takes approximately 40 minutes and costs about ?. The train leaves from the airport and departs every 30 to 60 minutes, while the train starting from Tibutina station departs every 15 to 60 minutes, and departs every 30 minutes at night. Passengers can connect to subway line B at Tibutina station.

Rome's public transportation system consists of buses, trams, the metro, urban railways, suburban railways and other services, all of which accept payment by way of a unified ticket. One-way tickets are valid for connecting transfers within 75 minutes, but can be used only once in the metro and suburban railway lines (transition between the lines with no check out is also considered as “once” only).
1. Metropolitana
Rome has two metro lines: the orange line A and the blue line B, intersecting at Termini Station. Stations are clearly marked by the Metro logo, a large white M on a red background. Metro service operates from 05:30 until 23:30 Sunday through Friday, and from 05:30 until 00:30 on Saturdays.
2. Autobus
Orange autobus service operates from 05:30 until 24:00, with many lines that cover almost the entire city. Night bus service operates from 00:10 until 05:30, and night buses can be identified by the letter "N" in their numbers. There is a blue tour bus service in Rome that charges a higher fare than the autobuses, but these buses offer convenient direct service to popular tourist spots, saving time and effort.

Regular taxis in Rome are white or yellow. Few taxis are available on the street, but you can find a taxi at the regular taxi stands at the airport, railway stations, visitor attractions, and some squares downtown, also you can book a taxi by phone, and the fare will be based on the taxi’s point of origin.
