1. Airport Name:Shenzhen International Airport
2. Basic Information
Shenzhen International Airport is the only domestic modern international airport that can accommodate combined transportation by sea, land and air, and it was also the first domestic airport to accommodate transit transportation in mainland China. Open to air traffic in October, 1991, Shenzhen International Airport was the first airport in China to be built using local self-financing. As of February, 2011, the Airport served 141 domestic and international routes, including 109 domestic routes, 3 routes to Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, and 32 international routes reaching over 100 cities at home and abroad. Effective November 28, 2013, Air China’s ticketing and check-in service for all inbound and outbound flights and other related services will be located in the new terminal, which is in the West Zone of the Airport. The former Shenzhen Airport Terminal A, Terminal B, and International Terminal will be closed.
3. Terminal Information
Shenzhen International Airport has moved all operations to the new terminal, which covers an area of 194,000 square meters, with a construction area of 451,000 square meters, including the main building’s central area, one central corridor, one diagonal corridor connecting the east to the west, one diagonal corridor toward the north. The main building’s central area is 500 meters away from the intersecting corridor.

Departure procedures
Passengers enter the domestic departure hall on Level 4 of the new terminal → check in at the counters on island E, G. and H → security check → wait at the boarding gate → Board the flight.
Arrival procedures
Passengers enter the domestic arrival hall on Level 2 of the new terminal → claim checked baggage → Exit the airport.
6. VIP Lounge
Air China’s VIP Lounge is the Shenzhen Airlines Lounge, located on Level 3 of the new terminal.

Airport Express
Before the completion of Subway Line 11, passengers traveling to the new terminal by subway can take Subway Line 1 to the Hourui Stop and then take the feeder bus connecting to the new terminal. The operating hours and arrival schedule of this feeder line connect seamlessly with those of Subway Line 1, with departures every five minutes. The trip takes about 10 minutes one way. This bus service is free of charge from November 27, 2013 to June 30, 2014. Passengers leaving the terminal can find the bus stop on Level 2 of the Ground Transportation Center (GTC) in the south, take the bus and then transfer to the East Airport Station of Subway Line 1.
Taxi
The base fare is RMB 10 during the day and RMB 12 between 23:00 and 06:00. All taxis except electric taxis add a RMB 2 fuel surcharge to every fare. Taxi stands are located outside Gates 05 and 06 on Level 2 of the GTC.
Airport Bus
Airport Bus Line 330 costs RMB 20 for a trip to the Hualian Building or the West Square of the Railway Station, and RMB 30 for a trip to the Terminal at Longgang City. There are additional Airport Bus Lines ranging from Line 2 to Line 10, that connect to various destinations passengers can choose according to their needs. Exit the Terminal through Gates 03 or 04 on Level 2 to take a bus.
Intercity Express
A long-distance bus station is located on Level 1 on the south side of the CTC. Passengers traveling to the Pearl River Delta region can access Intercity Express bus service here. Level 2 of the GTC is connected to the new Shenzhen Airport Terminal to the north.

1. Subway
Currently Line Luobao (also known as Line 1, runs from Luohu Railway Station to Bao’an International Airport) and Line Longhua (also known Line 4, runs from Futian Port to the Children’s Palace). The total length of the Shenzhen subway was 21.866 kilometers in 2010. The Line 1 extension, Line 2, Line 3, Line 4 and Line 5 are scheduled to begin operation by June 30, 2011. The ticket price starts at RMB 2, for Line 1, ticket price is RMB 9 for the 68 minutes full trip from Luohu Railway Station to Bao’an International Airport.
2. Bus
At present, Shenzhen has a total of 369 bus lines and 201 BRT bus lines, including 126 lines in the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone (SEZ), 30 lines in the Bao’an District, 31 lines between Bao’an District and Longgang District, and 239 minibus lines. Among them, Lines 1-99 are common bus routes of the SEZ Bus Group, Lines 100-299 are special-route bus routes within the SEZ; Lines 300-399 are routes coming in and going out of the SEZ, Lines 400-499 are minibus routes within the city, Lines 500-599 are minibus routes coming in and going out of the SEZ, Lines 600-699 are routes for Shenzhen Bus Line 2 Bao’an District, Lines 700-799 are minibus routes in the Bao’an District, Lines 800-899 are in the Longgang District, and Lines 900-999 are minibus routes in the Longgang District. The ticket price starts at RMB 2, and passengers can get a 20% discount for using a Shenzhen Pass.
