2.Basic Information
Havana Jose Marti International Airport is Cuba’s primary international and domestic airport, serving as the hub for Cubana de Aviación, Aerogaviota, and Aero Caribbean. This airport is an important hub for the Caribbean region.
3.Terminal Information
There are currently five terminals. Terminal 1 serves Cubana de Aviación domestic flights. Terminal 2 primarily serves Havana-Miami charter flights. Terminal 3 is the main terminal serving the majority of passenger and cargo flights. Terminal 4 serves cargo flights for Cargosur and Cubana Cargo operated by Iberia Airlines. Terminal 5 serves Aero Caribbean flights and other charter flights. An airport shuttle runs between terminals. Currently, Air China arrivals and departures take place in Terminal 3.

Check-in at Salon A on the second floor of International Terminal 3 → Exit immigration inspection and security → Air China gate → Boarding
International Arrivals
After landing in Terminal 3, passengers make their way to the first-floor international arrivals hall → Immigration → Customs → Baggage claim → Exit
6.VIP Lounge
Passengers with a business class ticket, the Air China Platinum Card, or a Gold Card (e.g. Star Alliance Gold members) may enter the lounge. Platinum and Gold Card holders may bring a guest. The lounge has a business centre and a bar providing snacks and beverages.
7.Airport Transportation
Havana Jose Marti International Airport is located 18 km southwest of the Havana city centre. After arrival, passengers may hire a car or taxi at the airport.

1. Taxis
Taxis are highlights of the streets of Havana. Many are adapted from classic cars in a range of colours and models. Generally, taxi rides short distances between scenic spots are 5 convertible Cuban pesos.
2.Coco Taxis
Coco taxis (the Spanish pronunciation of the English phrase “go go”) are adorable rickshaws seen all over Havana. Taking Coco taxis can be windy, but the views are great!
3.Ferries
The ferry ride between the Casa Blanca pier and Old Havana takes 30 minutes. Tickets costing the equivalent of 0.25 RMB per person are purchased after boarding the ferry.
4.Buses
Fares are the same for all buses, costing the equivalent of 0.10 RMB.
Travel is suitable in all seasons, with peak season running from mid-November to mid-April. The Christmas and New Year’s holidays are the most crowded and expensive times to travel to Havana. (Large numbers of Canadian tourist visit Cuba during this time.)
Like most tropical island nations, Cuba has dry and rainy seasons. The rainy season runs from May to October, and the other months are rather cool. In addition to Christmas, travel to Havana peaks in July and August. If you travel during the off-season, please look closely at weather reports.
