2. Basic Overview
Zhanjiang Wuchuan Airport is located in Heshan Village, Tangzhui Town, Wuchuan City, Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province, China. It is situated about 35 kilometers northeast of Zhanjiang city center. It is a 4E-class trunk airport as well as a national A class airport open to international traffic, and replaces the original Zhanjiang Airport, which is now closed. Zhanjiang Wuchuan Airport Terminal covers an area of 61,800 square meters. It is equipped with 17 airbridges and 4 boarding gates for remote stands; The civil aviation apron has 30 stands, including 2 Class E stands and 28 Class C stands; The runway is 3200 meters long and 45 meters wide; It is capable of handling an annual passenger throughput of 5.1 million passengers, a freight volume of 31,000 metric tons, and has a takeoff and landing capacity of 47,400 flights.

Zhanjiang Airport has a Domestic Departures lounge and an International Departures lounge. There are 22 self-service check-in kiosks, 26 integrated self-service check-in and baggage check-in machines (inc. 4 international and 22 domestic), 15 security channels, and a parking lot.

The staffed check-in counters will close 30 minutes before the flight's scheduled/expected departure time and the self-service counters will close 30 minutes before the flight's scheduled/expected departure time. The self-service check-in and the integrated self-service check-in machines will close 35 minutes before the flight's scheduled/expected departure time.

6. VIP Lounge Introduction
VIP Lounge
The Comfortable Fly VIP building is located in the South-East Wing of the first floor of Zhanjiang Wuchuan Airport Terminal, with 2 halls and 8 VIP lounges covering an area of about 1,500 square meters (including 6 business lounges totaling 2,230 square meters and 2 government VIP lounges totaling 700 square meters). The building has a designated parking lot, a separate passenger check-in system, a VIP information management system and designated security channels. Hot and cold soft drinks and snacks are offered free of charge in the VIP lounge, as well as free Wi-Fi, television, a fax send/receipt service and newspapers and magazines.
First/Business Class Lounge
The First/Business Class Lounge is located on the 13m elevation floor of the Domestic Departures Hall. There are 4 lounges, 2 cafeterias, 2 public rest areas (including a mother and baby room and a children's room), an office area, leisure, reading and other functional areas, altogether covering 1,800 square meters. It is equipped with a VIP information management system and provides free snacks, coffee, and other beverages, as well as television, free Wi-Fi, newspapers and magazines, flight information, boarding reminders and guidance for passengers.

The straight line distance of Zhanjiang Wuchuan Airport is 32 km from Zhanjiang City and 38 km from Maoming City. The airport has its own dedicated airport bus and taxi stand.

Fares on Zhanjiang buses vary by route. Bus fares are generally 1-2 RMB, with a few bus lines charging 3, 4, or 5 RMB. The special route to the West Train Station costs 3.5 RMB.
