It’s a variant of pick-up truck which can accommodate 10 passengers sitting on the two benches in the open back. Red Song Taew usually does not have fixed routes and take passengers to fairs, markets, temples, bus stations and railway station, while yellow, blue and green ones operate on fixed routes.
2.Taxis
Most taxis can be found at the airport and long-distance bus stations.
3.Tuk Tuk
It’s a slightly tweaked three-wheeled motorcycle. You can bargain for a better deal.

Exploring the Old City on a rented bike is a good option. Examine your bike closely to make sure it’s in good condition. Ask for a lock from the shop.
Chiang Mai is nestled in a plateau basin and hemmed in by mountains. The region is cooler than the central and southern part of Thailand. But in a tropical zone with a tropical monsoon climate, Chiang Mai does not see vast temperature fluctuations in a year, with an annual average temperature of 28℃. It has three distinct seasons in a year: summer, rainy season and cool season.
