The airport is located in Schwechat, 18 kilometers southeast of Vienna. The biggest and busiest airport of Vienna is linked to many destinations around the world and is the hub for Austrian Airlines.

Trains:
There are two train services linking the airport to downtown – CAT (City Airport Train) and S7. The trains depart at 30-minute intervals. A ride with CAT from the airport to Wien Mitte railway station takes 16 minutes and costs 1.4 Euros, and that with S7 takes 24 minutes and costs 11 Euros.
Taxis:
A taxi ride from the airport to downtown takes 20-25 minutes and costs 35-50 Euros.
Vienna Airport Lines:
Vienna Airport Lines buses link the airport to Schwedenplatz, Westgahnhof, Kaisermühlen-Kagran and Wien Erdberg and trips take 20-45 minutes. For adults, the one-way fare costs 8 Euros and the round-trip fare, 13 Euros. For children (aged 3-12), the one-way fare costs 2.5 Euros and the round-trip fare, 4.5 Euros. For children aged less than 3, the ride is free.
