2.Basic Information
Located southeast of Zhengzhou City, Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport, called Xinzheng Airport, is the largest and busiest civil airport in Henan Province and was listed as one of the eight regional hubs around the country by the National Civil Aviation Agency in 2008. The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) in 2012 approved the construction of the Phase II terminal building at Xinzheng Airport. When completed, the Airport will finally have the capacity to accommodate takeoffs and landings of 380 aircraft on five runways. At that time, the airport will be able to serve 40,000,000 passengers a year.
