The terminal building of this airport covers 110,000 square meters. The runway is 3,200 meters long and 50 meters wide, with a 4E-rated airfield, designed to be a pivotal international airport with annual passenger throughput of 10 - 20 million.

Airport Shuttle:
There are two buses between the Airport and the City center. Wuxi Airport Bus Line 1 runs from the Airport to the railway station. A one-way ticket costs about RMB 5. Wuxi Airport Bus Line 2 runs from the Airport to Liangqing Station. A one-way ticket costs about RMB 5.

Wuxi has a well-developed public transportation network. In addition to ordinary bus lines, there are night buses, rapid transit buses and tourist bus lines. The tourist bus lines include a route around Lihu Lake, which passes many famous scenic spots, such as Turtle Head Isle, Lihu Lake Park and Lihu Bridge Heleikou. Another line is the Wu Culture Tourist Bus line (K763), which travels past Hongsheng Bus Station, Wu Culture Square, Ximei Garden, Xuxiang, Fangqian Business Street, Xiangyang Road, Fangqian, Jiangxi, Xishi Road, Chunjiang Bridge, Youduyuan, etc.
