2. Basic Information
Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport is Thailand's largest and busiest domestic civil airport, as well as one of the main transit airports in Southeast Asia. It has two runways. Plans call for the addition of another runway and another terminal building in 2013.
3. Terminal Information
Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport currently has one terminal, which serves both domestic and international flights. In the Terminal, Level B has an elevated tram stop; Level 1 has a ferry station that connects with the airport bus stop; taxis are also available outside the terminal.
4. Location of Check-In Counters
Air China’s check-in counters are Counters U01 - U07 on Level 4 of the Terminal. Air China’s transit counters are located in the Transit Area on the west side of Level 3, marked with Air China logos.
5. Airport Directions
Domestic Departures
Passengers enter the check-in lobby on Level 4 of the Terminal → Proceed to Counters U01 - U07 for check-in → Security check → Border inspection → Wait at the boarding gate → Board the flight
Domestic Arrivals
Passengers disembark and enter the international arrival lobby on Level 2 of the Terminal → Border inspection → Claim checked baggage → Customs inspection → Airport exit and ground transportation

Taxi:
Travelers can locate taxi stands by following directional signs posted in the terminal. It takes about 40 minutes to take a taxi to the City center at a cost of about THB 300.
Airport Bus:
The airport offers an airport bus for travel between the Airport and the City of Bangkok. There are a total of four lines and the bus fare costs about THB 35.
Elevated tram
There is an elevated tram station on Level B of the Terminal. The cost of a tram ticket is THB 45.

1. Bus
There are many buses in Bangkok. The service is satisfactory but buses are quite crowded during peak hours, so visitors should try to avoid bus travel at peak hours. Buses are divided into blue-and-white air-conditioned buses, orange air-conditioned buses and red-and-white air-conditioned buses, and the prices vary.
2. Taxi
There are many colorful taxis in Bangkok, most of which are air-conditioned. The flag-down fare is usually TB 35. The price of taxi for most destinations within the Bangkok downtown area is usually between THB 35 and 250.
3. Light rail
There are two light rail lines in Bangkok: BTS and MRT. There are two BTS routes: the Sukhumvit Line and the Silom Line, which offer a daily pass for unlimited rides during one day. MRT runs from Bang Sue Station to Hua Lamphon Railway Station, and offers high-frequency service.
4. Three-wheel Scootcar / Dodo car
This is Thailand's most unique and very convenient transportation, which is named for the “dodo” noise it makes when it’s running.
