2. Basic Information
Located in Dashuibo Township of Wendeng, the central area of Weihai City, Weihai International Airport is 30 kilometers away from downtown Weihai, 15 kilometers away from Wendeng City and Rongcheng City and 40 kilometers away from Rushan City. Formerly a military airport, Weihai International Airport features a 2,600 meter runway, 36,000 square meter parking apron, a 140,000 square meter terminal building, a 1,700 square meter air traffic control building and advanced communication and navigating devices, lighting, instrument landing system, firefighting equipment, electrical supplies and various ground vehicles.

3. Terminal Information
Weihai Airport has one terminal building occupying a space of 28,000 square meters.

4. Location of Check-In Counters
Air China’s check-in counters are located on Level 1 of the terminal building, and include seven counters for domestic flights and 11 counters for international flights.

5. Airport Directions

Domestic departures
Passengers enter the Domestic Departure Hall on Level 1 of the terminal building →complete check-in procedures → security check → wait at the boarding gate → board the flight

Domestic arrivals
Passengers disembark and enter the terminal building → claim checked baggage → airport exit and ground transportation

International departures
Passengers enter the International Departure Hall on Level 1 of the terminal building → health inspection and quarantine → complete check-in procedures → border inspection → wait at the boarding gate → board the flight

International arrivals
Passengers disembark and enter the terminal building → proceed down the escalator to the Arrival Level 1 → border inspection → claim checked baggage → health inspection and quarantine check → airport exit and ground transportation

6. VIP Lounge
Air China has three VIP Lounges located near boarding gate No.4 on Level 1 and near boarding gate No.3 on Level 2 in the Domestic Departure Hall, and in the International Departure Hall between boarding gates No.1 and 2.

7. Airport Transportation

Taxi:
There are taxi stands at various arrival areas outside the terminal building. There are regular taxis and luxury taxis serving the city.  For regular taxis, the flag-down fare is 5 RMB for the first two kilometers with an incremental rate of 1.2 RMB for each additional kilometer between three and eight kilometers and 1.8 RMB per kilometer for each additional kilometer exceeding eight kilometers.  For luxury taxis, the flag-down fare is 7 RMB for the first two kilometers with an incremental rate of 1.4 RMB for each additional kilometer between three and eight kilometers and 2.1 RMB for each additional kilometer for each additional kilometer exceeding eight kilometers.   A 20% surcharge applies between 22.00 and 05.00.

Airport Shuttle:
You can take an airport shuttle to get to the airport, starting from Weihai Hi-Tech Zone Liqun Tower with stops at Haiyue Jianguo Hotel, News Building, Weihaiwei Tower, Civil Aviation Administration and District Civil Aviation Ticketing Office with the last stop at the terminal of Weihai International Airport.
Airport shuttles originating from the airport go through Jiangjiazhai, Bus Station/Railway Station, Changfeng, Civil Aviation Administration, Weihaiwei Tower, Hardware Building and News Building to the last stop at Liqun Tower.
