2. Basic Information
Ningbo Lishe International Airport, 13 km southwest of the urban area, is an important domestic trunk airport. Currently, the airport serves more than 30 domestic routes to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Chongqing, Xiamen, Qingdao, Dalian, Urumqi, Harbin, Kunming, Lanzhou, and many other destinations in China along with routes to Hong Kong, Taiwan and other regional and international cities.

3. Terminal Information
The terminal at Ningbo Lishe International Airport covers a total area of 43,500 square meters, and it was built to accommodate an annual passenger volume of 3.8 million people, and 1,700 people during peak hours. The 13,400-square meter underground garage and 5,271 square meter parking lot on the ground can accommodate more than 330 cars and 30 buses.

Taxi:
Fares start from 11 yuan for the first 3 kilometers and then go up by 2.4 yuan/kilometer from for the subsequent distance of 3 to 10 kilometers, by 3.36 yuan for the subsequent distance of 10 to 20 kilometers, and by 3.84 yuan for the subsequent distance of over 20 kilometers. There are waiting time charges –every period of 1 minute waiting time costs RMB 0.6 within 6 minutes, and RMB 0.8 if the total waiting time is over 8 minutes. At nighttime (22:00-05:00), there’s a nighttime surcharge of RMB 0.6/kilometer.

Airport Shuttle Buses:
Airport shuttle buses link downtown Ningbo to Ningbo Lishe International Airport. The buses depart every hour on the hour from Minhang Ticketing Office Building (91 Xingning Road) and stop at Ningbo Railway Station on the way to the airport . On the return trip, they stop at the Bus Center and South Bus Station. The fare is RMB 12.

1. Railway
Ningbo will build a railway circulation network. Currently, there are stations in Ningbo and Ningbo East.  In the future, the Ningbo Zhuangqiao station will be added to form a pattern of "one city, three stations”.  Ningbo connects to Shanghai and Nanjing to the west and north by Xiao Yong Railway, the Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo passenger line, the Nanjing-Hangzhou Railway, Shanghai-Ningbo Railway (which bypasses Hangzhou Bay); and directly reaches Xiamen, Guangzhou and other areas in the south by way of the Yong-Tai-Wen Railway; arriving in Jinhua and other areas in the southwest by way of the Yong-Jin Railway; and connecting to the Zhejiang-Jiangxi railway leading to the central and western regions.

2. Bus
On most bus lines in Ningbo, the ticket is RMB 2 per person.  On longer routes, fares will vary based on the travel distances. Passengers who purchase fares using general IC cards can enjoy a 40% discount, and students using IC cards can enjoy a 70% discount.

3. Taxi
The flag-down fare is RMB 10 (for the first four kilometers). The most common car models are Santana, Sonata, Citroen and Beverly, some of which are business executive cars and some are luxury cars.
