2. Basic InformationIncheon International Airport is located west of Seoul, on Incheon’s Yeongjong-Yongyu Island, close to the Yellow Sea. It is the largest civilian airport in South Korea and an aviation hub for international passengers and cargo transportation. Incheon International Airport was named the Best Airport in the World for two consecutive years. Known as the “Green Airport", it provides traveler with a beautiful and comfortable environment, derived from an environment-friendly design.
3. Terminal InformationIncheon International Airport features two terminals: the Main Terminal and the Concourse. The Concourse extends from the Main Terminal gates. The two terminals are connected by an underground tunnel. The Main terminal is used mostly by two airlines: KE and OZ. Foreign airlines use the Concourse. Air China operates from the Main Terminal.

Bus: Buses depart frequently from Incheon Airport to Seoul and Gimpo Airport, running every 10 to 15 minutes. The price of a luxury bus fare directly to Seoul is about 14,000 won. Ordinary bus fare is 10,000 won. There are a number of routes connecting to different locations in the downtown area.
Train: Take the airport train from Incheon Airport to Gimpo Airport first, then get off at Gimpo Airport and take Metro Line 5 to reach downtown Seoul. There are two types of airport train. The ordinary train, whose service starts at 05:39 a.m., and which runs every twelve minutes until final departure at 11:46 p.m., and the direct train, whose service starts at 05:27 a.m. and which run every 60 minutes until final departure at 9:00 p.m.
Taxi: The taxi stand is located at 5C-8C in the arrival level car parking area (Level 1) of the terminal. The cost of a trip to Seoul City Hall from Incheon Airport is about 44,000 won by ordinary taxi, and about 80,000 won by black model taxi, with additional night surcharge of 20% between 12:00 a.m. and 04:00 a.m.
Car rental: Rental service is located beside Exits 2 and 13 at the arrival gate (Level 1).

1. Metro
Seoul Metropolitan’s Subway began operating in 1974 and is now the world's ninth largest subway system. The lines and stations are highly concentrated. There are a total of 13 subway lines and more than 300 stations, including more than 50 transfer stations. They cover airports, ports, railway stations, bus stations, shopping malls, historical sites and other locations. Prices are affordable: 700 won for any transfer.
2. Taxi
For ordinary taxis, the flag-fall is 2,400 won. 100 won are charged per 144 meters or 35 seconds thereafter; for model taxis, the flag-fall is 4,500 won. 200 won are charged per 164 meters or 39 seconds thereafter (mobile phone, invoice and translation services are available on-board).

Seoul is connected to Busan, Incheon and other major cities by highways, which make travel by road very convenient. The Seoul-Incheon highway was the first modern highway built in South Korea. The Seoul-Busan highway goes by way of Suwon, Cheonan, Daejeon, Gumi, Daegu, Gyeongju, and other industrial centers
