2. Basic InformationLocated in Dongli District, Tianjin Binhai International Airport is 13km from downtown Tianjin, 30km from Tianjin Port and 134km from Beijing. The airport is one of China’s trunk-line airports, a Class A national air hub, a major air freight center, and an international airport. It has become one of the major transportation hubs in North China.
3. Terminal InformationTianjin Airport is comprised of two terminal buildings, one 4D-class runway, an Airbus test runway and corresponding passenger and cargo processing facilities. Air China’s airport operations are based in the second terminal.
4. Check-in CountersAir China’s check-in counters are located in Terminal 2 on Level 2 at Island B.
Domestic flight passengers are checked in at counters B12 to B20 counters, in which B12 is the duty manager’s counter, B13 is the First Class counter and B14 is the frequent flyer counter.
International flight passengers are checked in at counters B01 to B08, in which B08 is the First Class counter and B01 is overweight luggage counter.

Airport Shuttle Bus: Buses depart frequently from Incheon Airport to Seoul and Gimpo Airport, running every 10 to 15 minutes. The price of a luxury bus fare directly to Seoul is about 14,000 won. Ordinary bus fare is 10,000 won. There are a number of routes connecting to different locations in the downtown area.
Special Bus Lines:There are 3 bus lines linking the airport to the urban area, including:
Tianjin Tangu Development Zone special line, the bus fare is around RMB25.
Long-distance Coach:There are 2 coach routes linking the airport to the urban area of Tianjin and other parts of the city, including:
Tianjin Airport – Bawangfen of Beijing, the coach fare is around RMB35;
Tianjin Airport – Tianjin Railway Station (where you can take Beijing-Tianjin Express Rail) – Nanjing Road, the coach fare is around RMB10.
Taxi:The journey takes around 40 minutes to the downtown area and the fare is around RMB70.

1.Subway
By the end of 2006, Tianjin Metro Company had launched two subway lines, Line No.1 and Line No.9 (partially launched). The planned total length of the subway system is 227 km, wherein the Subway Line 1, Line 2 and Line 3 are backbone rail transport routes, the Subway Line 4, Line 5 and Line 6 are auxiliary rail transport routes, Line 7 and Line 8 are periphery rail transport routes and Line 9 is Tianjin-Binhai Light Rail (west section). The long-term goal for the total length of rail transport network is around 980 km.
The subway fare is charged based on the length of the trip, and the full fare of Line 1 is RMB5.
2.Bus
In urban areas, there are no conductors on buses. The fare is normally charged on a flat, per trip basis, and is around RMB1- 2. Passengers may use IC cards or insert banknotes or coins to pay for the bus fare. Large-denomination banknotes cannot be used on the bus.
3.Taxi
In Tianjin, taxi fares are counted according to two taxi types.
For taxis with at least 1.6L displacement, the flag-down fare is RMB8 (2 km inclusive), the charge rate is RMB2/km for journeys between 2 and 10 km and RMB3/km for the journeys exceeding 10 km.
For vehicles with less than a 1.6L displacement, the flag-down fare is RMB8 (3 km inclusive), the charge rate is RMB1.7/km for journeys between 3 and 10 km and RMB2.55/km for journeys that exceed 10 km.
If the journey exceeds 10 km, an extra 50% of the fare is charged as a return charge, and a waiting fare is charged for every 5 minutes waiting time, at a rate equivalent to one kilometer of journey.
