2. Basic InformationVancouver International Airport is located on Sea Island, about 15 kilometers from downtown Vancouver. It is one of the busiest airports in Canada with non-stop flights daily to the cities of the United States, Asia, Europe, Mexico, the Caribbean, and other airports within Canada. The South Terminal serves domestic airlines that fly mostly within British Columbia.

Airport bus:
The stop for the airport bus is to the right of the Terminal 2 entrance. It links to all major hotels, stations and ferry terminals. A round trip takes about 30-50 minutes and costs 10 Canadian dollars for a one way trip and 17 Canadian dollars for a round-trip. For passengers over 65 years old it costs 8 Canadian dollars for a single trip and 16 Canadian dollars for round-trip.
Bus:
Take bus number 100 from Terminal 3 for routes to the crossing of Granville Street and West 70
th Street. From there, visitors traveling to urban districts can change to bus number 20 or bus number 8. It takes about 1 hour, costing approximately 2 Canadian dollars.
Taxi:
Taxis are available at the airport hall exit and link to the urban district. The trip costs approximately 25 Canadian dollars.

1.TrainAt VIA rail station, there are many trains that travel between Vancouver and other cities within Canada and North America. VIA trains run from Jasper to Vancouver every Monday, Thursday and Saturday. Amtrak trains travel between Seattle and Vancouver every day.
2. BusVancouver bus networks extend all over the city, so getting around is very easy. Buses operate self-service ticketing, with fare of 2.25 Canadian dollars. With a ticket, visitors can take the bus, Sky Train and Sea Bus at the same fare free and unlimitedly within an hour and a half, or by paying the difference. Visitors can also buy a day ticket at stores or stations, which enables them to take bus, Sky Train and Sea Bus unlimitedly within the period of validity.
