December 2021: Air China Named among Top 500 World Brands for the 11th Consecutive Year

In December 2021, World Brand Lab released the 2021 Top 500 World Brands list. Air China was the only Chinese listed airline in 2021, ranking 283rd. Air China also won the Annual No.1 Chinese Brand Award (18th edition) in the aviation services category and the "Culture Brand Award" for 2021.

On June 22, 2021, World Brand Lab held its 18th World Brand Conference and released its "500 Most Valuable Chinese Brands 2021" list. Air China was ranked in 23rd place on the list, first among Chinese airlines, with a brand value of RMB?197.236?billion.

December 17, 2019: Air China Named as One of the World's 500 Most Influential Brands for 13th Consecutive Year

On December 17, 2019, World Brand Lab held its 16th World Brand Conference and released its 2019 list of the World's 500 Most Influential Brands. With a brand value of CNY 167.876 billion Air China stood at number 281 on the list, six places higher than the previous year’s ranking of 287th. Of the 40 Chinese companies on the list, Air China was the only Chinese airline. Air China also won the 2019 No. 1 Chinese Brand Award in the Aviation category, in addition to receiving a special award — the 2019 Annual Chinese Cultural Brand Award.

December 12, 2019: Air China Recognized as Most Popular Domestic Airline Among Chinese Families for the 11th Consecutive Year

On December 12, 2019 in Beijing, the Global Times — Global Travel magazine held its 11th “Outbound Travels Most Popular with Chinese Families” awards ceremony. Air China was recognized as the “Most Popular Domestic Airline Among Chinese Families.” This is the 11th time Air China has received this honor since 2009.

On June 26, 2019, Air China was listed among China’s Top 500 Most Valuable Brands for 2019.

On June 26, 2019, the World Brand Lab held its sixteenth World Brand Meeting, during which it unveiled “China’s Top 500 Most Valuable Brands of 2019”. Air China was listed at No. 21 with a brand value of 167.876 billion yuan - two places higher than last year and first among China's civil aviation.

On May 6, 2019, Air China was selected as one of the "BrandZ 2019 Top 100 Most Valuable Chinese Brands"

On May 6, 2019, WPP and Kantar jointly released the "BrandZ 2019 Top 100 Most Valuable Chinese Brands" list in Beijing. Air China ranked 30th on the list with a brand value of 4.965 billion US dollars.

On April 25, 2019, the 14th Changi Airline Awards ceremony was held at Singapore Changi Airport. Air China was awarded the “Partner of the Year” - the highest accolade of its kind.

On April 23, 2019, Air China's Hubei Branch was awarded China's National “May 1st” Labor Award.

On April 23, 2019, the May 1st International Workers' Day celebration & National May 1st Labor Award and the National Worker Pioneer Commendation Conference were held in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. Air China's Hubei Branch was awarded the National “May 1st” Labor Award - and was the only civil aviation to receive the award.

On March 14, 2019, Air China won the 17th National Transportation Enterprise Management Modernization and Innovation Awards.

On March 14, 2019, the 17th annual National Transportation Enterprise Management Innovation Conference was held in Jinan City, Shandong Province. During the conference, Air China's "Enhanced Human Resources Information System Application to Realize Participation of All Staff in Management and Drive Management Efficiency Improvement" project won the first prize for innovation. The "Air China Wings Enterprise-level mobile application platform and employee-side app" project also won the second prize for innovation.

On December 27, 2018, the World Brand Lab convened the fifteenth edition of its World Brand Meeting, where it unveiled the “ World's 500 Most Influential Brands ” . Air China was listed at No. 287, with a brand value of RMB 145.295 billion, three places higher than its ranking last year (No. 290). Among all the 38 Chinese brands selected, Air China was the only airline. On November 23, 2018, the 18th China Top 100 Listed Companies Summit, hosted by the Organizing Committee of China Top 100 Listed Companies Summit and the Wharton Economic Institute, took place in Beijing. Air China ranked No. 55 with a total profit of RMB 11.481 billion in the list of “China Top 100 Listed Companies in 2018”, and won the award of “China Business Top 100”.

Civil Aviation Resource Net (www.carnoc.com) released the “2014 Civil Aviation Passenger Service Evaluation Report” at the first Civil Aviation Service Summit held in the city of Xiamen on April 23, 2015. According the report, Air China carried off three awards, including “Best Civil Aviation Service Airline Award 2014”, “Airline Service Best Progress Award 2014” and “In-flight Entertainment Best Progress Award 2014”.

Air China featured prominently on the “Asian Brands 500 ” list released at the 8th “Asian Brands 500” award presenting ceremony held in Hong Kong on September 9, 2013. Air China was the top brand in China’s airline industry.

Air China was honored as the “MICE Supporting Airline of the Year” at the awards presenting ceremony of the “2013 China Travel & Meeting Industry Awards” held in Beijing on September 4, 2013. The awards were handed out jointly by “Travel Weekly” magazine and “Events” magazine, both of with are influential media in the travel industry.

On June 26, 2013, the World Brand Lab held the 10th World Brand Conference in Beijing to announce "China’s 500 Most Valuable Brands 2013". With a brand value of RMB 76.568 billion, an increase of more than 14 billion yuan over last year, Air China held 24th place on the list and ranked first in the domestic aviation service sector.

On April 27, 2013, the 10th Anniversary Ceremony of the Peace Tour and the International Art Exhibition of Peace Art Masters was held in the Golden Hall of the Great Hall of the People. This event was hosted by the PRC Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the PRC Ministry of Culture and the People’s Government of the Beijing Municipality. Air China was awarded the “Excellent Partner Award” by the Beijing Peace Tour Cultural Exchange Center on the basis of its perfect transport guarantee.

Air China was honored with a "Top Ten Chinese Corporate Green Responsibility Award" at the Fifth China International Forum on Green Development on April 21,2013 for its outstanding performance in energy saving and emission reduction and its advocacy of green operations.

On November 23, 2012, the People’s Daily Health Times Press hosted the 2012 Health China Awards Ceremony in Beijing, co-sponsored by The Research Center for Public Health and the Institute of Health Communication at Tsinghua University. At the event, Air China was awarded the 2012 Health China - Public Welfare Project Media Recommendation Award for its outstanding contributions to public welfare.

On November 14, 2012, Business Traveler, the most influential international business travel magazine, announced the results of their 2012 Readers’ Survey. Air China won the title “Best Chinese Airline”.

On September 9, 2012, Air China was named 7th on the Top 500 Asian Brands List released at the Asian Brands Ceremony held in Hong Kong, ranking first among Chinese airlines.

On July 17, 2012, Air China won recognition at the national employment creation recognition meeting hosted by the State Council. Feng Run’e, Air China’s Vice General Secretary of the CPC Committee, was well received by national leaders including Wen Jiabao, the prime minister and a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, as a representative of one of the National Outstanding Enterprises for Employment Creation. Air China is the only civil aviation company among all 21 enterprises directly under the Central Government.

On June 28, 2012, the World Brand Lab held the 9th World Brand Conference to announce "China’s 500 Most Valuable Brands 2012" (the 9th edition). With a brand value of RMB 61.885 billion yuan, an increase of more than 14 billion yuan over last year, Air China held 24th place in the list and ranked first in the domestic aviation service sector.

On June 12, 2012, the 68th IATA Annual General Meeting and World Air Transport Summit Air China was hosted by Air China in Beijing and Air China won the Fast Travel Gold Award presented by IATA’s CEO Tony Tyler.

On June 5, 2012, the 7th International CSR Forum and awards ceremony for the "2011 Golden Bee CSR China Honor Roll" were held in Beijing. Air China was honored with the "Leading Enterprise" award and Air China’s case study titled "Advanced Navigation Technology Brings Overall Value" was listed in the 2011 Golden Bee CSR Competitiveness Case Collection.

On May 22, 2012, the awards ceremony for Superbrands China 2012 was held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Shanghai by Superbrands, a world-recognized independent brand research and assessment company. Air China was honored with the "2012 Most Favored Brand for Chinese" award.

On April 26, 2012, Air China received the title of "China’s Model Online E-commerce Enterprise for Creditability", and Air China’s official website at www.airchina.com.cn was honored with a "Credible Website" certificate.

On April 19, 2012, Air China was honored with the "TTG Best Chinese Airline" award at the grand awards ceremony for TTG China Travel held in Shanghai. It is the fifth consecutive year that Air China won this award since its introduction in China in 2008.

On March 20, 2012, the press conference and awards ceremony to announce the rankings for the Chinese Edition of the Fortune Top 25 Socially Responsible Companies in China were held in Beijing and Air China was named 17th on the list. This indicates that Air China’s CSR performance has been widely recognized in the sector.

On December 29, 2011, the World Brand Lab held the 2011 World Entrepreneur Forum in Hong Kong to release the "Global Top 500 Brands" list. As the only domestic airline on the list, Air China held 345th place with a brand value of RMB 47.856 billion yuan and has been listed for 5 consecutive years. Moving up 38 positions since 2010,, Air China now ranks 5th on the list of fast growing brands. Air China also earned the "Chinese Brand Annual Award No.1 Air Service Sector" for the sixth consecutive year, coupled with a special "2011 Chinese Culture Brand Award".

On December 13, 2011, Air China was honored as the "Most Preferred Domestic Airline for Chinese Households" at the awards ceremony hosted by the Travel Weekly section of Global Times magazine. It is the third consecutive year that Air China won this award since 2009.

On October 13, 2011, Air China's phoenix logo won the "Visual Expression Design" award at the Beijing Design Week 2011 award ceremony.

On August 8, 2011, the grand opening ceremony for the 5th China Brand Festival was held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing and the 2011 Brand China Huapu Annual Awards were also unveiled. Air China earned the title "World-recognized National Symbol".

On June 28, 2011, the World Brand Lab released the list of "China’s 500 Most Valuable Brands 2011" (the 8th edition) at the 8th World Brand Conference. With a brand value of RMB 47.856 billion yuan, an increase of more than 7 billion yuan and one rank higher than last year, Air China holds 24th place on the list and the first place in the domestic aviation service sector. Chief Economist Xu Jianqiang received the award and made a speech on behalf of Air China.

On June 28, 2011, Air China was awarded the 4-star rating by Skytrax - the international authority for accrediting airline services. This marks another milestone in the development of service enhancement and a strong start on the path to further strengthening services, improving service quality and deploying a fully integrated service system.

On April 6, 2011, Air China’s General Secretary of the CPC Committee and Chief Accountant, Fan Cheng, was honored as the "2010 China CFO of the Year", a title selected by the public, at the 2010 China CFOs of the Year ceremony.

On March 27, 2011, Wang Yinxiang, China National Aviation Holding Company's General Secretary of the CPC Committee and Vice General Manager and Air China’s Vice President, won the "2010 China’s Female Economic Leader of the Year" award and delivered a speech at the awards ceremony.

On January 18, 2011, Kong Dong, China National Aviation Holding Company's General Manager and Air China’s Chairman, won the "China’s Top 10 Economic People of the Year" award and made a speech at the awards ceremony for 2010 CCTV China’s Economic People of the Year.

On February 10, 2011, Air China was honored with the title of "Top 100 Companies in the Regional Economy" by the People’s Government of Shunyi District at the 2011 Shunyi District Secondary and Tertiary Industries Development Conference. Li Huxiao, Vice President of Air China, received the award and made a speech on behalf of the Company.

On January 15, 2011, Air China was named among the "Transform - 2010 Top 10 Chinese Economic Leaders" at the grand "Transform - 2010 Top 10 Chinese Economic People, Companies and Cities" ceremony hosted at Xinhua News Agency’s auditorium. Tan Zhihong, Air China’s General Secretary of the CPC Committee, received the award and made a speech on behalf of the Company.

On January 12, 2011, the grand awards ceremony for the "2010 Travel Consumption Credibility Survey" was held at Beijing Jade Palace Hotel, marking the completion of the survey program conducted by travel.china.com under the sponsorship of the China Tourism Education Association. With the best safety performance, the largest operation scale and the best aircraft fleet in the domestic aviation service sector, Air China earned the 2010 World’s Best Airline award.

On December 29, 2010, Liu Peizhi, Air China’s Vice General Secretary of the CPC Committee, received an award from the World Brand Lab in Hong Kong on behalf of the Company. It was the fourth consecutive year since 2007 that Air China was listed among the top 500 global brands. Ranking in 383rd place, Air China is the only domestic civil aviation airline ever listed and one of only 17 Chinese brands on the list. In addition, Air China also won the "Chinese Brand Annual Award No.1 Air Service Sector" and "2011 Chinese Culture Brand Award".

On November 12, 2010, the 6th Chinese Security Market Annual Meeting initiated and hosted by the Securities Daily Press was held at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing. Air China won the "Golden Phoenix Award" issued by the organizing committee.

On November 11, 2010, the United Nations Children’s’ Fund presented a letter of appreciation to Air China in Beijing for its free transport of donations for the fund’s personnel on their goodwill tour to Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, in September. As a company directly under the Central Government, Air China has turned social responsibility into a voluntary practice. The free transport of donations for the goodwill tour to Liangshan will further enhance the Company’s recognition and brand image among the public.

On October 29, 2010, Air China’s delegation successfully defeated all opponents in the semi-final and final contest for the 2010 Top 10 Chinese Flight Attendants and Goodwill Ambassadors at the 8th Zhuhai Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition. They won the Best Team award with the highest overall score thanks to their sophisticated skills, elegant appearance and excellent demonstrations. Three flight attendants, Chen Changli, Yao Xiaohang and Yang Wen, were honored with the title of "8th Zhuhai Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition Goodwill Ambassador". On November 16, the Air China team attended the Zhuhai Aviation Exhibition as goodwill ambassadors. This marks the first time that Zhuhai Aviation Exhibition goodwill ambassadors were selected on the basis of competition.

On September 16, 2010, Air China’s 2009 CSR Report was honored with the Best CSR Report award and the Most Potential CSR Report award in the Transport and Warehousing Sector category at the 2010 A-share Listed Companies CSR Report and CSR Investment Summit and Listed Company CSR Rating Award Ceremony co-hosted by Rankins CSR Ratings (RKS), hexun.com and Det Norske Veritas (DNV).

On September 10, 2010, Business Traveler Asia-Pacific, a well-known international travel magazine, released the results of the 2010 Business Traveler Asia-Pacific Readers’ Survey, a survey conducted from April to June. Air China won the "Best Chinese Airline" award and Air China’s General Secretary of the CPC Committee, Tan Zhihong, received the trophy on behalf of the Company at the award ceremony.

On September 9, 2010, the "2010 Top 500 Asian Brands" list was released at the 5th Asian Brand Ceremony held in Hong Kong. Air China was named on the list and Wan Yinxiang, China National Aviation Holding Company's General Secretary of the CPC Committee and Air China’s Vice President, received the trophy and certificate on behalf of the Company.

From August 13 to 15, 2010, China’s first private and business jet exhibition was held and Air China’s business aircraft group was honored with the only "Chinese Civil Aviation Best Business Aircraft Trustee" award by the organizing committee. According to resources, this exhibition was hosted by Celink Ltd. with the support of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Worldwide Chinese Federation of Industry and Commerce. As a business aircraft operator, Air China presented its business aircraft at the exhibition

On June 28, 2010, the World Brand Lab released its "China’s 500 Most Valuable Brands 2010" (7th edition) list at the 7th World Brand Conference. In this ranking of top Chinese brands, which is based on financial analysis, consumer behavior and brand strength, Air China held 25th place with a brand value of 40.629 billion yuan, ranking first in the domestic civil aviation service sector. Liu Peizhi, Vice General Secretary of the Air China CPC Committee, received the award and made a speech to promote the Air China brand.

On February 3, 2010, Air China was honored with the "2009 Best Corporate Image Award" at the 2010 Sohu China New Vision Summit. It was the fifth consecutive year that Air China won this award. Liu Peizhi, Vice General Secretary of Air China’s CPC Committee, received the award on behalf of the Company.

Air China was named on the 2009 Top 500 Global Brands list with a brand value of RMB 31.723 billion yuan. This was the third consecutive year Air China was listed,, becoming the only domestic civil aviation airline ever listed. Air China seized 398th place, 21 places higher than the previous year, and only 18 brands entered the list. On December 29, 2009, Tan Zhihong, General Secretary of Air China’s CPC Committee, received the award from the World Brand Lab on behalf of the Company. Meanwhile, Air China also won the "Chinese Brand Annual Award No.1 Air Service Sector" with the first rank of brand value in the domestic civil aviation sector. Kong Dong, China National Aviation Holding Company's General Manager and Air China’s Chairman, was honored among the "China’s 2009 Top 10 Economic People of the Year" by the World Brand Lab. At the award ceremony, Air China also won a special "China Culture Brand Award".

In August 2009, Air China won the title of "2009 China’s Top 50 Green Companies", a ranking initiated by Business Weekly and awarded by online voting and readers’ opinions upon the examination of the assessment committee for China’s Top 50 Green Companies. This title reflects the recognition of Air China’s innovative performance in implementing green services.

On June 16, 2009, the World Brand Lab released its "China’s 500 Most Valuable Brands 2009" (the 6th edition) at the 6th World Brand Conference. In this ranking of top Chinese brands, which is based on financial analysis, consumer behavior and brand strength, Air China held 25th place with a brand value of 31.723 billion yuan and an increase of more than 1.5 billion yuan, ranking the first in the domestic civil aviation service sector. On October 22, 2009, the Robb Report held an award ceremony for the 2009 Best of the Best list in Shanghai. Air China’s First Class won the Robb Report’s "2009 First Class of Choice" award, becoming the most favored First Class among Robb Report readers. This award is the result of a telephone survey of 323 readers of the Robb Report conducted by Robb Report and Ipsos, a global leading market research company, over 6 months.

In April 2009, Air China Limited won the title of "2008 Most Preferred Airline for Business Travelers (Greater China Region)" in the first "Business Travel Awards" hosted by Business Travel magazine. The "21st Century Business Travel Awards" is an authoritative selection campaign jointly organized by the 21st Century Business Herald, a leading business newspaper, and Business Travel, China’s first magazine integrating the concept of "Business" with "Travel", in China’s business travel sector. During the selection process, high-end business readers, authoritative experts, and industry media reports reviewed China’s business travel market from diverse perspectives through personal experience, questionnaires and online voting and then selected the most preferred business travel products and services for business travelers.

On April 24, 2009, the 5th International Forum on Chinese Outbound Tourism themed "Transitional Chinese Outbound Tourism" was held in Beijing. Air China was honored as the "2009 Best Partner Airline for Travel Agencies" and was the only award winner among Chinese airlines. By reputation,, the International Forum on Chinese Outbound Tourism is the most professional and influential industrial summit jointly hosted by the China Association of Travel Services, the Pacific Asia Travel Association and the Ivy Alliance of Tourism Consulting.

On April 16, 2009, the "Best Chinese Airline Award" was unveiled at the 2009 TTG China Awards ceremony. Air China won the "Best Chinese Airline" in 2009 TTG China Award. It was the second consecutive year that Air China won the award issued by TTG China, a Singapore-based world recognized publishing agency.

On March 29, 2009, the 2008 annual conference of China’s top 500 companies in informatization was held in Beijing. Air China Limited was listed among top 500 companies in informatization and won two corporate awards, the "2008 Excellent Information System Construction Team Award" and the "Best E-commerce Application Award". According to sources, this conference, themed "Integration: From Corporate Informatization to Informative Corporation" was hosted by the National Informatization Evaluation Center of the China Electronic Commerce Association.

On January 8, 2009, the "Best Corporate Image Award" was grandly unveiled at the 2009 Sohu China New Vision Summit. Air China was honored with the "2008 Most Socially Responsible Company of the Year" award as the only winner. Air China had won the "Best Corporate Image Award" for four consecutive years.

On December 18, 2008, Air China, Limited won the "2008 Chinese Brand Annual Award No.1 Air Service Sector" and the special "2007 Chinese Culture Brand Award" at the World Entrepreneur Forum hosted by the World Brand Lab. On October 9, 2008, TTG Asia, an influential voice in the Asian travel market, hosted the 19th TTG Asia China Travel Awards ceremony at Centre World, Bangkok. Air China Limited won the TTG Asia "China’s Best Airline" award. It was the fourth consecutive year that Air China won this award.

On October 25, 2008, Air China was listed among the "2008 Top 20 Most Globally Competitive Chinese Companies" at the awards ceremony jointly hosted by the magazine Global Entrepreneur and Roland Berger Strategy Consultants. Liu Peizhi, Vice General Secretary of Air China’s CPC Committee, received the award on behalf of the Company. It was the second time that Air China received this recognition since 2007.

On September 23, 2008, Business Traveler Asia-Pacific, a well-known international travel magazine, released the results of the "Business Traveler Asia-Pacific Readers’ Survey 2008"and Air China won the "Best Chinese Airline" award for the third consecutive year.

On July 26, 2008, Air China won the "Brands Changing Chinese People’s Life over the Last 30 Years" award at the "Who Changed Our Lives over the Last 30 Years" award ceremony and the China Times anniversary celebration gala.

On July 13 and July 14, 2008, the World Brand Lab released the "2008 Global Top 500 Brands" list in New York and China respectively. Fifteen Chinese brands including Air China were listed. As the only domestic civil aviation company ever listed, Air China held 419th place, a gain of 42 places over 2007. It was the second time that Air China entered the list.

On June 28, 2008, Air China won the "2007 China’s Top 100 Listed Company Golden Bull Award" at the "10th Golden Bull Listed Companies Summit and Award Ceremony" hosted by the China Securities.

On June 26, 2008, the "2007 China’s Top 100 Most Valuable Listed Companies Summit and Award Ceremony" were jointly hosted by the Securities Times Press and the China Southern Fund, and Air China was listed among the "2007 China’s Top 100 Most Valuable Listed Companies".

On June 12, 2008, the award ceremony for the "2nd B&M 2008 Corporate Brand Communication China Summit" was jointly hosted by the Publication Committee of China Advertising Association, Beijing Daily Group and Shanghai Fuce Advertising Limited at the Great Hall of the People. On June 2, 2008, the World Brand Lab held the 5th World Brand Conference to release its "China’s 500 Most Valuable Brands 2008" (the 5th edition) list. Air China held 26th place with a brand value of 30.212 billion yuan and an increase of more than 6.6 billion yuan compared with the previous year, ranking first among domestic civil aviation service companies. Yang Lihua, Vice President of Air China, received the award and made a speech to promote the Air China brand.

On March 18, 2008, the Financial Times, a world recognized British financial publisher, released the results of the "FT China’s Top 10 Global Brands Survey" in Beijing. Air China won the "FT China’s Top 10 Global Brands" award and Yu Yiqun, head of the Corporate Culture Department at Air China, received the award on behalf of the Company.

On January 21, 2008, the "Influencing China 2007 Tencent Online Festival" ceremony was held in Beijing. Air China earned the "Airline of the Year" award. Liu Peizhi, Vice President of Air China, accepted the award on behalf of the Company.

On May 30, 2007, Air China won the "2006 Excellent Organizer for National Safety Cup" award at the recognition meeting for the "Safety Cup" hosted by CAAC. Air China has won this award for 4 consecutive years since 2003.

On June 22, 2007, the World Brand Lab announced, at the press conference for "2007 China’s Top 500 Brands" (the 4th edition), that Air China's brand value reached RMB 23.523 billion yuan with an increase of 4.6 billion yuan over the previous year and its rank increased from 32nd place to the 27th place. Li Jiaxiang, China National Aviation Holding Company's General Manager and Air China’s Chairman attended the press conference and made a speech titled "Establish an International Brand Image for Air China".

On June 13, 2007, the World Brand Lab released the "2007 Global Top 500 Brands" (the 4th edition) list in New York. A lineup of 12 top Chinese brands including Air China, China Mobile and CCTV were listed and Air China held the 461st place on the list. It was the first time that Air China competed with top brands worldwide. This was also unprecedented in the Chinese civil aviation sector, indicating that the Air China brand had become a global brand.

On April 18, 2007, the National Geographic Traveler released the results for the 2nd "Readers’ Choice Gold List" voting program. The 2nd "Reader’s Choice Gold List" contains 50 awards in 7 categories, including Best Tourism Destinations, Best Hotels, Airlines of First Choice, Best Travel Network Service Providers. Air China was named on the "Reader’s Choice Gold List" by winning the "Airline of First Choice for Domestic Routes" award.

On March 3, 2007, Air China was honored the Best Airline in China in the competition of the most favored airline. This award was given at the prize awarding soiree of the 2007 Lifestyle in Capital World held by the Security Exchange Weekly. It was the second time that Air China won the award.

On February 2nd, 2007, the 2006 Annual Prize Awarding Assembly was held in Beijing by the Passenger Service Promotion Committee of the Beijing Capital Airport. Air China Limited was honored the Best Ground Handling Agent in 2006.

In February 2007, Air China was awarded "The Best Business Entity of Great Wall Card of Bank of China in 2006" , "The Best Business Entity Handling Credit Card Abroad" and "The Best Cooperation Partner in 2006".

Air China Limited won the "2006 Golden Service Reward" on February 1, 2007 among airlines with passenger volume above 15 million in the "2006 Civil Aviation in My Eyes Program" which was organized by the Customer Committee of the CAAC Association. It is the third consecutive year that Air China won this award, and is hence granted the "Golden Service Prize" by CAAC.

Air China was honored the "2006 Best Corporate Image Prize" on January 29, 2007 by the Corporate Image Annual Conference which is jointly hosted by the Development Research Center of State Council, China Credit Research Center under Peking University, Sohu Business Channel, and Guanghua Media.

On December 21, 2006, Air China was awarded "No. 1 of the Annual Award of Chinese Brand" by the World Brand Lab. This award was given during the Annual Conference of Global Managers jointly hosted by the World Brand Lab, the weekly magazine of Global Manager and The Mundell.

On December 9, 2006, Air China ranked 2nd for the "2006 the Most Innovative Enterprise of China" by the Appraisal Conference of Chinese Innovative Entrepreneurs.

On December 1, 2006, Air China was honored "The Best Information Disclosure Company of China in 2006" in the evaluation activities of "The Best Listed Company of China" hosted by Shanghai Securities News and CNSTOCK.COM.

On November 18, 2006, Air China was honored the "Most Influential Brand of China in 2006" in the International Summit of Chinese Influential Enterprises.

Air China was named the CAPA Airline of the Year by the Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation (CAPA) at its Aviation Outlook Summit conference.

On October 12, 2006, Air China was honored the 2006 TTG Best Airline of China in the four magazines TTG Asia, TTG China, TTGmice and TTG-Btmice China. The award was given by the global publishing institution TTG during its award banquet for the tourism industry.

From October 9, 2006 to October 11, 2006, Air China was awarded one of the "Top Ten Chinese Brands in International Markets of the Year 2006" in the 14th World Productivity Conference hosted by the World Confederation of Productivity Science, the Chinese Academy of Productivity and the Shenyang Municipal Government.

From September 11 to September 13, 2006, China National Aviation Holding Co. was awarded the Most Valuable Brand of Asia in the first Brand of Asia Ceremony. Air China was ranked number 141 in the Top 500 Asian Brands.

On August 8, 2006, Air China was honored the "Top 25 Benchmark Brand Enterprises" at the press conference of the Chinese Summit Forum where the overall brand evaluation results were released in the People’s Conference Hall in Beijing.

In July 2006, Air China was selected as the "2006 Top Ten Commercial Brands in China" hosted by Global Manager.
