Air China (0753) added to MSCI Standard Index Series

HONG KONG, Feb 15 (Reuters) - MSCI said it will add eight companies to its Standard Index Series and delete two following its quarterly index review.
The eight companies to be added to the MSCI Standard Index Series are: Japan's Inpex Corp.; Norway's Stolt Offshore; China's Air China and ZTE Corp.; Singapore's Suntec Real Estate Investment Trust ;Malaysia's AirAsia Bhd ; Turkey's Turk Hava Yollari; and Poland's TVN .
The two companies being deleted are Taiwan's Picvue Electronics and China's TCL Communication Technology Holdings Ltd. , according to an announcement dated on Monday.
The changes will take effect at the end of February, 2005.
