On February 28^th, 2008, Air China transported the first batch of delegates and representatives attending the CPC and CPPCC meetings to the Beijing Capital International Airport on Flight CA1510. Air China’s excellent service was recognized by the Zhejiang Delegation who were on this flight.

The CPC and CPPCC meetings are very important in carrying out the spirit of the Chinese Communist Party’s 17^th National Congress. There are many new delegates and representatives attending the meetings this year. Air China focused on safety in its support of the two meetings and established a special leading organization to ensure a high level of professionalism in the service. The Air China staff understood the political sensitivity of the meetings and ensured the top level of security.

Air China’s engineering technology subsidiary, commercial committee, and operations control center worked in cooperation to make sure the flights were on time. Contingency plans were made to deal with uncontrollable factors that could possibly delay the flights. Special attention was given with airport check-in, seating arrangements and baggage transportation with every piece of luggage labeled “Delegate of Important Meetings”. Bright colored cloth was attached to all luggage so the delegations could distinguish between their luggage.

The delegates and representatives could request personalized service on the flights. Food, entertainment and reading material on board were top quality and the Air China flight attendants provided excellent service to create an enjoyable flight for the delegates and representatives.
